Sometimes life can be hard, stressful, or just plain overwhelming. During these times, we need to stop and remember that God is still there and He’s protecting us throughout all that we do! Take a minute for yourself to focus on prayer that’ll help you stay encouraged.

When School is Stressful

  • Matthew 6:34: “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”

  • 1 Peter 5:7: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

  • James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

When You’re Feeling Sad

  • Psalm 9:9: “The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.”

  • Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

  • Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand ”

When Relationships Need Fixing

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:11: “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

  • Ephesians 4:29: “Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you.”

  • Matthew 5:9: “You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.”

When You Are Doubting Yourself

  • Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”

  • Deuteronomy 31:6: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

  • Colossians 1:11: “May you be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy.”
