At St. Mary Catholic School, we provide a welcoming community and a Christ-centered, family friendly environment where students grow spiritually, academically, physically, and personally. Our students reach their full potential and grow into responsible, independent, enthusiastic learners and compassionate Catholic leaders.

A History of Excellence

Since 1958, St. Mary has been dedicated to providing academic excellence and a solid Catholic curriculum to the students of Brevard County. In 2002, we received the  Innovations in Technology Award from the National Catholic Education Association, and in 2004, we were selected by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.

A Foundation in Faith

While attending St. Mary, students study Catholic doctrine and tradition, participate in Bible study, learn about their responsibility to social justice, and prepare to receive the Sacraments of the Reconciliation, the Eucharist, and Confirmation. Students develop their God-given talents and are equipped to become persons of prayer who serve their community.

Students attend Mass each week, and preschoolers often join their older student mentors. These students serve as role models for the younger students and show them the proper way to behave during Mass. While Catholic schools, as an extension of the Church, emphasize Catholic teachings, virtues, and traditions, we also value diversity and respect for those of all faiths.

Enrichment Activities

Outside of the classroom, St. Mary is proud to offer a wide variety of unique and exciting extracurricular activities. Does your child love getting creative and working with their hands? The Art Works Club could be a great fit! If your child is passionate about health, nature, or agriculture — or if they just enjoy being outside — then the Hydroponic Garden Club is an excellent option. Maybe they like fantasy sports, Disney, history, theater, or Legos. From the Bookie Cookie Club to the Science Research Club to the crafting clubs, there’s something for everyone.

Athletics

As a member of Catholic Youth Sports, we offer sports programs for students to enjoy. We encourage students to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives, knowing that this will foster good sportsmanship, help them practice cooperation and teamwork, and further their spiritual and physical development.

See For Yourself

We encourage all prospective families to schedule a personal tour of our campus. We also host shadow days for interested students. Shadow days are great opportunities for students to experience a day in the life at St. Mary and meet future classmates.

At private schools in Brevard County, we challenge students to be creative and critical thinkers who integrate faith, moral leadership, and compassionate service to make a better world. Through a low student-teacher ratio, classroom technology, and a variety of enrichment activities, we strive to inspire excellence in our students. Contact us to learn more!
